Dr. Sarah Wroe Nield has over ten years of commercial experience in new product development of advanced wound care products. From concept to commercialisation, she has facilitated innovative design based on user need, assisted in production and scale up trials, and supported products in the market.
Sarah has a 1st class honours degree and PhD, both in Textile Science and Technology from the University of Manchester. Her thesis focused on the recycling of post-industrial waste. She analysed a range of reduction methods prior to processing the reduced matter. For this, she used technologies from the textile, paper and rubber industries.
Sarah’s key interests revolve around fluid management, sustainability, and usability engineering within product design.
