Dr. Clement Denis

Team Leader – Innovation Scientist


While at NIRI, Clément has lead multiple R&D teams and programmes for many innovation leaders. He has a PhD in Materials Chemistry from University College London, which is one of the world’s best universities. His PhD thesis focused on the synthesis of nanomaterials and the control of their morphology using continuous hydrothermal reactors

He obtained a Materials Engineering degree from Université de Technologie de Troyes (France) and an MSc in Microsystems and Nanotechnology from Cranfield University

Prior to joining NIRI, Clément worked for industry in R&D roles, gaining experience in scale-up, process improvement and introduction of new products to manufacturing lines
