Sabine holds a Diplom in Textile Technology (MSc equivalent degree) from the University of Technology in Dresden, Germany, and her undergraduate studies centred on Mechanical Engineering. During her studies she gained experience in diverse areas of the textile industry including nonwovens, knitting and fibre-reinforced composites. Before joining NIRI, Sabine worked in the technical department of one of the UK’s leading nonwovens manufacturers.
