RollaStop provides the world’s first lightweight, slash resistant security system; based on a new patent pending hydroentangled metal-polymer fibrous composite technology developed by NIRI and offering similar performance to heavy metal shutter protection systems. The protective fabric meets stringent independent slash resistance test standards and provides a lightweight, flexible, printable surface which may be manually or electrically deployed. In addition to slash resistance, different performance variants are provided incorporating ultra violet light resistance, flame retardancy and anti-microbial properties. The protection is intended to be deployable either internally or externally to protect retail commercial or domestic property. The high performance protection fabric is housed and deployed along a unique patented tamperproof frame.

RollaStop fabrics have been tested in accordance with the stringent HOSDB (Home Office Scientific Development Branch) Slash Resistance Standard for UK Police (2006), Publication No. 48/05. We are also considering performance in line with US attack access resistance tests.
