NIRI was a finalist in two categories at the 2008 Excellence in Business Awards: ‘University Spin-Out’ and ‘Innovation of the Year’ (for SurfaceSkins). The awards were celebrated at a prestigious ceremony in Leeds on 17th October. The keynote speaker was David Cameron, leader of the Conservative Party.
