Consultancy

The majority of our work is conducted on a consultancy basis whereby we initially liaise with a client to understand the requirement brief in detail. We then submit a proposal with defined deliverables and costs. With consultancy work all IP (Intellectual Property) remains the property of the client.

Joint Ventures

In several cases clients have preferred NIRI to assist in the development of a technology in partnership whereby both parties jointly fund the development costs and/or seek external funding and share in the commercialisation of the product. For  Joint Ventures the IP is shared.

Development & Licence Options

For our own IP library we look to work with commercialisation partners who are best placed to bring the concept to market, normally under a Development & Licence Agreement. For licence agreements the IP remains with NIRI.
