David is the Chairman of NIRI. He is a former chairman of the Textile Institute council and an honorary Doctor of Technology. He is a visiting Professor of Nonwovens at the University of Leeds and is a former executive director of numerous nonwovens manufacturing companies and industry suppliers. David is an experienced industrialist with direct experience of nonwoven operations in Europe, Asia and the USA.
